Welcome to The Chongqing Dog Club founded in 2018. The club was formed to represent the interests of the Chinese Chongqing breed and their owners, to maintain a healthy standard and promote ethical breeding programmes within the breed.

The Chinese Chongqing is one of the oldest, and rarest dog breeds in the world, native to the Chongqing City and Sichuan area of China. A 2000-year-old multipurpose working breed.  This breed has an extensive and scarce history. 

As a club, we are dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and welfare of the Chinese Chongqing breed following the CKU standard and FCI Rules and Regulations.

Our aim is to gain Kennel Club recognition for our beloved breed.

Everyone is welcome to join the club.  We aim to offer sources of education, advice on puppy buying, dog health, dog training and dog breeding.
